Welcome to the last month of school! This month we will begin preparing for graduation and finishing up our school year. Both classes will be participating in the Graduation celebration. I will also be working on your child's last report card for the year. I am proud to say that I have seen great progress with all the students. I know that my students going into Kindergarten in the fall will do great and those who will be returning to me are ready for the next level.

We will be taking the kids to the park at least once a week, as long as the weather is nice, probably on Thursdays. We also will be having recess outside and taking walks, so please make sure your child wears comfortable shoes to walk in.

This month we will be celebrating all summer birthdays, so please check the calendar to see when we will be celebrating your child's birthday. Let us know what you would like to do on this day.

Graduation is on June 1st, the children will meet in the preschool at 9:30 am. They can dress in whatever they would like, please remember, home on Friday, May 28th.

Please keep ordering Market Day, this really helps our school. Also, considering our White Sox Family Night Game on June 3rd. This is a great way to get out and have some fun and to meet some of the other families.

Our last fundraiser for the school year is the Walk A Thon. Please go out and get some pledges for your child. Last year one of our preschoolers raised the most money and won a great prize! It would be great to have another preschooler win it this year! The children had a great time doing the Walk A Thon and playing in the park afterwards! The Walk A Thon is May 21st. Good luck!

If you are looking for a summer program for your child, I will be teaching the  "Summer Fun" program here. It will be four days a week for three hours, and it will be four weeks long.  Information about this program will be going out shortly!

During the summer, please continue to attend Mass with your children, and look out for the Summer Fest which will be in July. I recommend that you continue  having your child practice their names, letter of the alphabet, and numbers to help them prepare for the fall.
Enjoy the nice weather and have a great month! Overall, just have a great summer. Thanks for all your support throughout the school year. Good luck with your adventures!

Mrs. Laura & Mrs. Susie
